Wanna join us?

Google from your door to ours...
We know that can be quite a challenge, so we have compiled this section of pages to help answer some of the questions we get asked a lot, and hopefully take some of the anxiety out of finding a church home.

Of course, if you still have questions you can email us, or better yet, come and experience the church on a Sunday morning.

  • Finding a church can be hard work...

You never know what to expect when you attend a church for the first time. You get up early, drive to an unfamiliar building filled with strangers, spend an hour or more with them, only to find out that it's not quite what you are looking for in a church. If only you could have some idea of what an average worship service is like before going to one! The following is an honest description of an average Sunday morning at North Country Fellowship.

As you enter our building you will immediately notice the Sunday morning buzz created by dozens of children running around. Both military and local families of all ages are in attendance. As you enter the meeting room (where the service takes place), you will notice a comfortably modern feel. The chairs are nicely cushioned. Worship music is playing over the sound system and people are actually happy to be at church!

The live worship band will start the service around 11:00 AM and lead everyone in 4 or 5 songs. Drums, guitars and piano are all used in our musical worship. The words to the songs we sing are projected on a screen for you to follow along. The music is modern, contemporary and exciting!

As the singing ends, we will pray and one or more of our pastors will begin to teach from God's word. We believe that the Bible is worth studying every Sunday so we make it a priority to do so as a church. The messages are clear and apply to everyday life. If you own a Bible, bring it with you and follow along. We usually spend 35-45 minutes learning from scripture.

Afterward, people tend to hang around, talk and just enjoy each other's friendship.

Once a month we celebrate and remember the death of Jesus Christ through a ceremony called "communion" (it's also known as "the sacrament", "the Lord's Supper" or "the Eucharist").

During the teaching time (after the music), children from age three through fifth grade may attend Spiritual Life Classes. Most kids find this time to be an absolute blast! If you have a baby or toddler under age three, we provide nursery facilities with a large window to the service and a speaker so you can catch the service and still care for your child. All of our children's workers have had background checks because safety matters to us.

We are an imperfect group of people trying to pursue Jesus Christ on the Journey of Faith. Sunday morning is our chance to join together in corporate worship. It's a breath of fresh air in the midst of a hectic life. We look forward to meeting you on Sunday!

  • Love God. Love Others. Share Jesus.

    Our Purpose

North Country Fellowship exists for the purpose of bringing glory to God our Father. We do this by accomplishing the purposes He has designed for the church: whole-hearted worship, accountable community, life-application discipleship, service to others and introducing others to Jesus.

For a more detailed look at out purpose and structure you can attend our membership class. Watch the church calendar for the next class date.

    Our Beliefs

    • We believe the Bible is God's Holy Word, inspired and without error.
    • We believe that God exists in three Persons -- Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
    • We believe in Jesus Christ, his virgin birth, sinless life, atoning death, resurrection, ascension and personal return.
    • We believe that man is sinful and eternally lost without Jesus Christ.
    • We believe in salvation by grace through Jesus Christ and the eternal security of the believer.
    • We believe the Lord has left the believer with two ordinances: Baptism and the Lord's Supper.
    • We believe that the church consists of all who have placed saving faith in Jesus.

    Our Affiliation

We are associated with  CBMissionNortheast, whose regional office is located in Albany, New York. Each church associated with CBMNE is fully independent, but has joined with other churches for the advance of the Gospel through home and foreign missions, new church plants and campus ministries.
