Ice Cream Bowl

icecreambowlI assume by now there has been significant talk about an ice cream bowl.  Some have said that entire armies could march for miles within this bowl and never reach the rim.  Though rumors of the bowl abound and are grand in scope the reality is oh so sweet!  Imagine if you will a bowl, the likes of which none have seen before.  A bowl that dwarfs all other bowls.  One bowl to rule them all…que ominous music!

Back here in reality we still need to clear up what this bowl really is about.  You should have seen by now that the junior high youth have been memorizing Hebrews 11:1-10.  Currently the homework is to have Hebrews 1-4 memorized in preparation for our meeting 21 March.  Each child who successfully completes all 10 verses and can recite them in their entirety will be allowed to fill the bowl with ice cream and their choice of toppings and commence to chow down!  So you can see that it is not so much the bowl, but what it will be filled with.  The same could be said of us…it’s not the person but what we’re filled with.  Our junior higher will be filled with God’s word AND ice cream.  Does Christ fill you?
