As much as we try to have services every Sunday... there are occasional times where God has other plans and informs us through a major snow or ice storm. The questions is, "How do you know when services are cancelled?"
Below you will find our simple church cancellation policy and announcement system:
Determining if services will be cancelled:
- If there is a "travel ban for Jefferson County", services will automatically be cancelled.
- If there is a "no unnecessary travel advisory" services MAY be cancelled, please check before driving out.
- If the weather seems severe and two of the leaders believe it is unsafe or unwise to travel, services may be cancelled.
How to find out if services are cancelled:
- We will post a notice on the home page of our web site.
- We will send an email out to everyone in the church that we have addresses of.
- We will update the church calendar online.
- We will announce it on News10Now (cable & website).
- We will update the church answering machine (315.493.3958).
We pray that we do not need to cancel any services this year, and hope that these resources will help inform you in case we do. If you have any questions please call one of the pastors.
